Preview your itinerary (Final template)

The Preview tab allows you to preview and customise the itinerary presentation before sharing it with your customers.

Customise itinerary display

When creating a new itinerary it will have your organisations default display settings.  These can be overridden for individual itineraries on the Customise itinerary display dialog accessed via the Itineraries, Preview, Edit icon on the itinerary hero image (top right corner).

After clicking the Edit icon to access the dialog you can customise:

  • Itinerary header – Adjust the header between Dark and Light theme to best match the image you have selected.
  • Icons – Either show or hide Icons to change the look of your itinerary.
  • Itinerary logo – Replace your standard Logo with another for a particular itinerary.
  • Itinerary hero image – Add a unique hero image to display at the beginning of the itinerary.
  • PDF cover image – Add an A4 cover image to display as Page 1 of your PDF itinerary export.

Adding a Logo to your proposal

  1. Access the Itinerary logo menu and select the Edit icon to select or add an image from the Media library.
  2. Click Save and the new image will display.

Adding a Itinerary hero image or PDF cover image 

  1. Access the Itinerary hero image or PDF cover image section of the dialog and select the Edit icon to select or add an image from the Media library.
  2. Click Add hero image to choose an image from the Media Library. The library displays all your images from the Media library.

Tip: We recommend an image size of 2200×1000 pixels for Hero images and PDF itinerary image should be at least 2480×3508 pixels.

Itinerary introduction

This section adds an introduction section for those customers who wish to add an introduction to the itinerary postcard that is distinct from the day by day itinerary postcards. The Itinerary introduction section will display below the Hero image and above the Journey outline.

To add Itinerary introduction

  1. On the itinerary Preview, directly below the Hero image, click Add introduction button.
  2. The Itinerary introduction dialog will open.
  3. Add your desired content in the Title, Description and Image fields.
  4. Click Save to add the section to the Preview or Cancel to not.


  • Once saved the Introduction section can be edited later by clicking the Edit icon or deleted by clicking the Trash icon.
  • Itinerary Introduction does not get copied over when you Duplicate an Itinerary. Itinerary Introduction needs to be added manually to an Itinerary.


This section displays a map of your journey if Maps are enabled for the itinerary. The map pinpoints are situated on the location of the Accommodation, Activity and Transportation suppliers. 

Note: Maps are only available on both: Expert and Premium plans.

  • Map type in Itinerary Setup will default to Hide map.
  • To enable map go to itinerary Setup click Map type and select either Show all services on map or Show only accommodation services on map
  • Hover over the city detailed in the Itinerary Preview-> Map section to view its location on the map.
  • Zoom-in and zoom-out of the map using the buttons.


The Itinerary outline is a sneak peek of the itinerary and lists a compact view of bookings in a single line. When sharing the itinerary with travellers the User can decide whether to Hide/Share the Outline.

Final Itinerary

This section displays a description of all the bookings in a list view.

  • The Expand All/ Collapse All toggle button for bookings per day lets you enlarge the booking to view details such as the start & the end date, the start & the end time, the option chosen for the booking, the Add-ons, and the description.
  • Click the city on the booking to open a location in Google Maps. The location depends on the type of item chosen. For example, an Accommodation item will display the Supplier location, a Transportation item defaults to the pick-up location, and so on.
  • The mobile view of the itinerary presents an option to call the Supplier.
  • Click the Comment icon to “chat” with itinerary collaborators. The comment option lets you mark a comment completed by clicking Mark as done.

The Preview Final page displays items on the itinerary as per the following rules:

  • The Fees & Insurance item is listed at the end of the page. It does not include the Expand all /Collapse all functionality.
  • A Transportation item when expanded opens a map displaying the point of departure with a green pinpoint with a forward arrow and the destination with a black pinpoint with an end arrow.
  • A Destination Information item that has the subtypes Overview, Free time, Directions, Explore and Information do not give you the option to chat with the itinerary collaborators through Comments.
  • The Directions item lets you view the route of your journey marked in blue. The point of departure displays with a green pinpoint and the destination with a black pinpoint.

Booking Process

The Booking Process section outlines the stages of the itinerary process and lets you edit your Terms & Conditions, and displays the agent’s contact details.

Branding – Adding your organisation’s logo

You can add your organisation’s logo at the bottom of the page.

  1. Click the image icon to choose an image from the Media library.
  2. The images that you upload will automatically be cropped to appear as the logo.
  3. You may replace or remove the logo through the option menu (three vertical dots on the top of the image).

Please note that branding is currently unique to each proposal that you publish. We’ll be introducing the ability to store your organisation’s logo soon.


If you’re working with another agent, you can co-brand your itinerary with their logo by following the steps above to add your organisation’s logo.

Note: The ability to add and delete images is only available to you, the agent. The traveller will not be able to edit or change the Hero images, terms & conditions or branding.

To edit your Terms & Conditions

  1. Click the Edit icon on the Terms and conditions label under Payment at the bottom of the page.
  2. On the Terms & conditions page, click the edit icon.
  3. Replace the default Terms & conditions text with your own.
  4. Once you have finished editing, click outside of the text box to save your edits.


The first name, last name, email address and phone number of the agent that created the itinerary will be displayed in this section.
